On September 15, Watson Williams Elementary welcomed Tom Varano, a speed painter and inspirational speaker who travels across the country sharing his performance, Emotion Into Art™.
Tom grew up in upstate New York and now calls Houston, TX home. He has worked with Disney, Carnival Cruise Lines and MGM Resorts, speaking at corporate events to motivate staff to be their best. He also has a passion for supporting veterans and first responders, helping foundations and charities raise thousands of dollars to make a difference in their lives.
During the performance, Tom created multiple dynamic paintings that will now be proudly displayed at Watson-Williams as a lasting reminder of his visit. A special thank you to Tom for coming to create such awesome artwork for our school and leaving our students with an empowering final thought: Be yourself, chase your dreams, never give up hope and always remember: your life matters!
