Board of Education Special Meeting Information for October 3, 2026
On September 25, students in the Construction Technology and Electricity/Fiber Optics pathways recently attended the National Grid Careers Pathway Expo in Albany, providing them with valuable opportunities for career awareness and exploration within the construction, electrical, energy and utility industries.
Students visited a variety of vendors and industry partners to learn about different career opportunities, skills and qualifications employers are seeking and types of employees needed in today’s workforce. Students got to ask questions, learn directly from industry professionals and gain a better understanding of potential career pathways.
The experience also provided students with an opportunity to network with employers and industry professionals, helping them begin to build professional connections and develop the communication and employability skills needed to pursue future internships, apprenticeships and careers in their fields.
