All Extracurricular Activities Canceled December 30, 2025
ਵੱਲੋਂ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਐਲਾਨ Utica ਸਿਟੀ ਸਕੂਲ ਡਿਸਟ੍ਰਿਕਟ - ਬਹੁਤ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਗਰਮੀ ਦੀ ਚੇਤਾਵਨੀ
Due to the anticipated extreme heat warnings for Monday, June 23rd and Tuesday, June 24th from NOAA, and other media outlets, we will be shortening these days for students only, K-8, as we cannot accommodate air-conditioned spaces for all of our students. We anticipate temperatures outside in the 90's with an extreme heat warning and classrooms could exceed that temperature.
High School students will continue with REGENTS Exams that will take place in air-conditioned spaces.
Student Schedule:
June 23rd – High School Regents will take place in air-conditioned spaces
- Pre-K - 8 will have a half day with Middle school student dismissal at 11:00 am and Elementary school student dismissal at 12:00 pm
June 24th - High School Regents will take place in air-conditioned spaces
- Pre-K - 8 will have a half day with Middle school student dismissal at 11:00 am and Elementary school student dismissal at 12:00 pm
June 25th - Regular schedule
June 26th - Regular schedule
June 27th - Last day for K-8 Students (adjusted schedule)
- Pre-K - 8 will have a half day with Middle school dismissal at 11:00 am and Elementary School dismissal 12:00 pm
Staff: All staff will stay for faculty meetings and PD that will be happening in air-conditioned spaces at each building.
The following PD has been identified as items which can be addressed on the half days: End of year record keeping items, data assessment and reporting, grade level team collaboration, SCEP, progress notes for end of year, K-8 coding cards, faculty meetings, etc.
Summary:
- Middle school student dismissal at 11:00 am / Elementary school student dismissal at 12:00 pm
- ਅੱਧੇ ਦਿਨ ਦੀ ਸਮਾਂ-ਸਾਰਣੀ/MS ਗ੍ਰੈਬ ਐਂਡ ਗੋ 'ਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੁਪਹਿਰ ਦਾ ਖਾਣਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
- Regents are being given in air-conditioned areas at the HS and exams will continue. ALL REGENTS WILL CONTINUE AT THE HS IN AIR-CONDITIONED AREAS.

- There will be no after school activities for students
